The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) will be taking its 150th Anniversary celebrations to the people of Mandeville on Saturday February 25 with a Raffle Road Rave and Variety Concert.The festivities will begin at midday in the square across from the Cecil Charlton Park, with the daytime highlight being the raffle promotion.  For just $150, members of the public will have the chance of winning a 2018 Toyota Corolla contributed by Toyota Jamaica.  The consolation prizes are also attractive, with the second prize being a weekend for two at a Sandals Resort in Jamaica and the third prize a 50-inch television set.

JCF Director of Corporate and Special Services, Mrs. Angela Patterson said, “It is a very good way to get citizens to be a part of our celebrations and to build on our partnerships with Jamaicans.  Also, it will energise our members by getting them to be actively involved in the activities. The tickets are for $150 which is symbolic of the 150 years.” The grand prize draw will be on Saturday, September 30.  In addition to being available at the Road Rave on Saturday, tickets may also be purchased at any Police Station or formation across Jamaica. 

Toyota Jamaica’s General Sales and Marketing Manager, Mr. Howard Foster said “This a good thing, anything we can do to support the JCF we will.  We are proud partners with the JCF, by supplying a number of vehicles periodically to improve the fleet of motor vehicles and the efficiency of the JCF.  We believe in the vision of the JCF and this is supported by our long standing relationship with the organisation.  We are certainly excited about this initiative and the general 150th celebrations.” 
 The activity has been approved by the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission.The day will also present a host of other family-friendly entertainment and surprises which will culminate in a variety concert that starts at 4:00 p.m.
