Ready Or Not, Christmas Is Here Again

Despite the challenges of the past year, most Jamaicans are looking forward to the season we lovingly call Christmas, that we celebrate in so many ways; by sprucing up our surroundings, attending the Church of our choice, getting together with friends and family or just taking a break from everything to unwind and recharge.

Despite the challenges of the past year, most Jamaicans are looking forward to the season we lovingly call Christmas, that we celebrate in so many ways; by sprucing up our surroundings, attending the Church of our choice, getting together with friends and family or just taking a break from everything to unwind and recharge.

Whatever the reason, let us remember to count our blessings by acknowledging the presence of the Lord in our daily lives, surely it could be a lot better and certainly it could be a lot worse, please give thanks.

Let us remember to reach out to the less fortunate in our community and pledge to make a difference in the future, this land is your land, love and cherish it.  It is within this context that the Management and Staff of the Mandeville Weekly Newspaper wish for you a peaceful, healthy and merry Christmas.
